Virtual Art Exhibition

Lauren Ferguson

Having recently contributed to the Caritas magazine, I am keen to keep involved with Watsonians around the world. I love the idea of the Virtual Art Exhibition for #WatsoniansLinked and am delighted to contribute some of my recent work to this gallery.

I am currently completing my BA (Hons) Painting Degree (during lockdown) from a living room studio. I have been studying at Gray's School of Art for the past four years in Aberdeen, and absolutely loved it. The penultimate exhibition which all fourth year art students work towards has unfortunately but appropriately been cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic. However, Gray's are curating a Virtual Degree Show which will go live at the end of June 2020, allowing us to showcase the hard work and results of the year. I am excited to be part of this new and challenging project, but also hope to show my work for real in the future. Until then, these online platforms such as #WatsoniansLinked are such a great way of sharing what we have been creating in the meantime.

I hope you enjoy these images of my work. You can see more at www.laurenfergusonart.com
