Hello. My name is Hamish Kerr (Class of 1960) and I am delighted to become a part of the WatsoniansLinked endeavour and present to you a small selection of my work, which I hope you enjoy.
I live between Niagara on the Lake during the summer, and Florida in the winter and have spent a lot of time in southern Spain over the past few years - reflected in my selection of paintings shown here. If you would like to talk further about my work please contact me on leslie.hamishkerr@gmail.com
I would be most interested to connect with other Watsonian artists from around the globe.
'The Foghorn House' at the mouth of the mighty Niagara River in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada. On the far side is the American Fort Niagara, built by the French and occupied by the British until the War of 1812.
'Bay Isles Beach Club' Longboat Key, Florida.
Peace and tranquility on the Gulf of Mexico.
Reflections: A peaceful street scene in Portugal
'Skating in -20ºC at Fort George' in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada.
The Fort was built in 1796 by the British and is now used for summer re-enactments of the 1812 War between the British and Americans.
'Spanish Hill Town in the Costa Blanca'
A typical hill town with the Church as the focal point ... not only visually but of life itself.
'The Hill Town of Teulada' in the Costa Blanca, Spain.
Almost hidden in the hills, 700 feet above and five minutes from the Mediterranean lies this charming 600 year old centre of the Muscatel wine growing region.
'Street Scene in Altea' Costa Blanca, Spain. An historic town on the Mediterranean ... during siesta all is quiet.
