The Watsonian Benevolent Fund

The Benevolent Fund provides financial support to former pupils and staff, in the form of one-off or monthly allowances, as well as grants to purchase equipment. For further information please contact the Development Office at development@gwc.org.uk.

Kerr Fry Awards

Study awards for graduates of The University of Edinburgh and who are also former pupils of George Watson's College.

These research awards are for people who, because of their circumstances, would not normally be able to give up their usual work. For further information, please see the University of Edinburgh website.

Kerr-Fry PhD Scholarship

Scholarships are available to former pupils of at least three years standing at George Watson's College, Edinburgh who have been accepted at The University of Edinburgh on a full-time PhD degree programme in any subject. For further information, please see the University of Edinburgh website.
