Support Our Digital Archive
We're excited to announce an incredible opportunity to bring our rich history into the digital age. Our Watsonian magazines and George Square Chronicles, filled with decades of memories, achievements, and stories, are in need of digitisation. By converting our historic publications into digital format, we can make our shared heritage easily accessible and text searchable for everyone.
Imagine being able to effortlessly search for specific articles, friends and family, and significant events from our school's past or from your year group. This project will provide a valuable resource for pupils, teachers, researchers and Watsonians, preserving history for future generations.
We’ve started the project here: Digital Archive
However, we can't do it alone. We need your support to make this vision a reality. Your generous donation will go directly towards the digitisation process, ensuring that every page of The Watsonian and The George Square Chronicle is meticulously preserved and searchable online.
Donate today and help us keep our history alive and accessible for years to come. Together, we can ensure that our school's rich heritage is never forgotten. If you wish for your donation to go towards digitising a specific publication or volume, such as The Watsonian published during the 1953-54 school year, please let us know in the comment box on the donor form.
Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. Thank you for helping us keep our history alive!
