George Watson's College offers a unique and historic venue, with modern facilities, conveniently located close to Edinburgh's city centre. We offer a variety of flexible and competitively priced space to hire, hosting a range of events from meetings and networking events to gala dinners, theatre productions and exhibitions.

- Assembly Hall
The Assembly Hall at George Watson's College is our largest space, seating up to 1000 guests in various seating configurations, including raked seating. Fully equipped with audio visual equipment and professional stage lighting this is the perfect venue for theatre productions, filming, gala dinners and charity events.
- Lecture Theatre
Our Lecture Theatre can seat up to 150 delegates. It is situated close to numerous break out spaces making it an ideal conference venue or for large group training.
- Music Auditorium
The focal point of the music school here at George Watson's College and one of our most popular spaces to hire. As well as hosting concerts, recordings and rehearsals, the auditorium can hold up to 215 guests and therefore also an excellent space for conferences and lectures.
- Breakout Classrooms and Dining Spaces
We have numerous breakout spaces and classrooms, all with screens and AV equipment available to hire. Rooms can be set up to suit your event and requirements and can be hired alongside some of our larger spaces.
Our Dining Hall can seat up to 200 guests and our smaller conference room equipped with screen and AV equipment can set up to 30 in boardroom style.
- Centre for Sport
Our Centre for Sport offers some fantastic space and sports facilities available to hire. We can host anything from yoga classes, five-a-side football, badminton to children's birthday parties and meetings.
Facilities within the Centre for Sport include; two indoor sports halls, astroturfs, tennis courts, three indoor gyms, classrooms and a central hub area.
Overlooking the Myreside playing fields at the western end of the campus, Myreside Pavillion provides a social venue for the school's community and the general public.
Our grandstand, playing fields and sports pitches are all available to hire as well as venue space within the recently refurbished Pavilion. With three meeting rooms, a public bar and function suite and free onsite parking, Myreside Pavilion is a perfect location for a wide range of events from birthday celebrations and breakfast meetings to yoga and dance classes.

Our onsite catering team, Inspire Catering, are an independent Scottish business founded in 2008, offering delicious, locally sourced food and a highly experienced team. They can offer anything from breakfast meeting bacon rolls, light conference lunches to formal dinners for over 200 guests. Please get in touch to find out more.
