Jacqueline sits on the Education & Pupil Wellbeing Committee.
Jacqueline Stroud has practiced as a lawyer for almost 30 years. She is a Partner with MacRoberts in Edinburgh. She specialises in family law and is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in family law and also as a Family Law Mediator. Throughout her career she has always had a particular interest in child law matters. She is regularly appointed as a Court Reporter by the Sheriffs at Edinburgh Sheriff Court to assist the Court in reaching a determination about child law matters. She is passionate about resolving family related matters in a non-confrontational manner and Mediation is a growing part of her practice.
She is married and has a daughter studying mathematics at Glasgow University and a son at Watson's. She is delighted to have been invited to join the Education & Wellbeing Committee at Watson's.
