Adventure Club
The Adventure Club is an exciting new opportunity to take part in and develop skills in sea kayaking, hill walking, mountaineering and rock climbing. The Adventure Club will meet regularly throughout the year for both day and extended trips. Club members will take an active role in trip planning taking account of the groups' needs and weather forecast. Planning meetings will take place on the Thursday before departure in the library at 1.15pm.
To book a place on a trip pupils should access the Google site through the Adventure Club Classroom and complete the signup form on the relevant activity page. Parents must complete and sign the relevant booking and consent form (see activity page) to confirm their place. Paper copies can be collected from the Adventure Club board. These should be returned to the activity coordinator by the Wednesday preceding the trip. For residential trips, deadlines for booking will be detailed on the booking and consent form. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Participants will receive a confirmation email of their place on the trip and the cost will be charged to extras.
