World Pipe Band Championships

Saturday 14 August saw the Pipe Bands travel to Glasgow to compete in the World Pipe Band Championships. The Juvenile Band donned their new waistcoats for the first time and won the Marching and Discipline. They were runners up as a Band and Drum Corps and are now on course to retain both Champion of Champions titles.

The Novice Juvenile Band were placed 2nd and retained their World Drumming title and the Best Bass Section Trophy. They need to beat the current World Champions to be crowned Champion of Champions. Meanwhile the Drum Corps have already secured the Champion of Champions Title for the third year in succession.
