Last weekend, 12 GWC pupils were selected to compete at the International Gathering of Scottish Highland Dance in Disneyland Paris.

The girls ranging from P4 to S4 took part in both traditional and choreographed highland competitions against approximately 220 other dancers from across the world. Everyone had a fantastic time and came home with a huge 28 medals between the group.

Freya Beveridge (P4) was runner up in the 8 and under Scottish National competition.

Henri Lynch (S4) was runner up in the 14 and over Highland competition.

The girls worked extremely hard and even managed to fit in some French speaking revision whilst the group travelled through France!
