Close up of player running with ballOn what turned out to be an extremely wet Saturday afternoon on one of the back pitches at Murrayfield our U18 boys took part in a nail-biting Brewin Dolphin Scottish Schools’ Cup semi-final against Strathallan.

Throughout the match the lead passed between the two sides in a thrilling hard-fought physical match in challenging conditions, which ended with a 25–22 win for Watson’s.

The finals will take place on Thursday 27 November at Murrayfield, when the U18s will take on Merchiston Castle School.

The U16s semi-final against Dollar Academy takes place on the Myreside Grandstand pitch at 3.30pm this Friday (14 November). Please note that as this coincides with school pick-up time there is likely to be congestion in the Myreside area. Supporters are urged to use public transport or to park to the north of the School in the zoned parking area and walk to the ground, to avoid increasing the traffic on Myreside Road. The car parks at Myreside Pavilion and the Grandstand are used for pick-up and should not be used by supporters.
