pupil swimmingGrace Reid (S2) is currently making her way home from Holland with two gold medals in her luggage having competed in the Amsterdam Cup. There were 37 divers competing in the Dutch Open Group B Girls 14 – 16 competition, with national teams from Canada, Germany, Italy, and Spain amongst others as well as Scotland.

Grace beat her previous personal best by 20 points, and was rewarded with the sound of Flower of Scotland as she stood on the podium on both Friday and Sunday.

Along with many other S2 pupils this week her travel plans have been affected by the volcanic ash cloud and her journey home involves a train to Brussels, another to London, then a third to Edinburgh!
