Union JackWatson’s were extremely successful at the British Schools’ Dry Slope Ski Championships, which were held on Sunday at the Midlothian Snowsports Centre at Hillend.

Duncan Kuwall (S5), Harry Carruthers and Andrew Greenshields (both S4) and Alasdair Sandland (S3) won gold, making the boys' team British Champions.

Our girls – Philipa Carruthers (S6), Alannah Lawrie (S4), and Eilidh Skinner and Jemma Clarke (both S2) – were narrowly beaten into bronze position, against strong competition.

Duncan and Alannah won gold as fastest boy and girl overall and are now British Schools’ Ski Champions.
