On Tuesday 29th May the GWC Wednesday Scottish Dancing Group climbed Stuc an Lochain, north end of Glen Lyon.
With accomplished musicians playing their bagpipes, they danced their very own reel, MunroMaynia, which had been written specifically for the occasion by their dancing teacher, Morag Fairhead.
The group consisted of Sally Rae, Matron; Susan Dick, retired member of staff; piper, Dan Lean, former parent; Michael Connelly, class of 2009; Elspeth Lean and Andrew Connelly, both class of 2011; Steve and Alison Connelly, former parents; and parents, Charlie Crummey and Elaine Crummey(class of 1977). The action was captured by camcorder operator Pat from the USA, who is Michael's flatmate from St Andrews University.
Is this the strangest celebration of MunroMaynia? Let us know...
