Tax Prize for S5 pupil!

Richard Ovens, S5, has just scooped a £750 prize for his winning essay on the theme: 'Tax is Legalised Robbery - Discuss'.

The essay was set by the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT), which launched a competition to all secondary schools in Scotland to mark the 75th anniversary of the Institute.

Mr Raymond Kelly, Head of Group Taxation at John Wood Group PLC,visited school to award Richard his prize,and to present Heather Wilson, Head of Senior School, with a cheque for £750 for the School.
