Seventh Year in a Row for Rugby Sevens

boy carrying rugby ballOur S1 team won the Hutchesons' rugby sevens tournament yesterday for the seventh year in a row. This is some record.

They met Heriot's, Jordanhill and St Columba's in the pool games, which they won 9–3, 37–0 and 32–0 respectively.

In the semi final they met Glasgow Academy and won 13–3.

14–3, in the tournament final against Marr College, won them the trophy.

The whole team played very well, their skill level and intelligence, combined with their physical presence was outstanding, both individually and as team. Many of the other coaches were full of praise for the high standard of sevens the boys produced throughout the tournament.
