There were seven senior swimmers participating and they all swam well in their finals. Daniel McGregor (S2) won two medals – a fantastic achievement. He won gold in the 200m individual medley final and silver in the 100m freestyle final.

Brodie Savage and Stuart Niblock (both P7) both swam well in U12 individual events. Brodie won Bronze in the 50m breaststroke, Stuart swam a very good 50m butterfly.

We were represented in both U12 freestyle relays. The boys’ team of Stuart Niblock, James Cruickshank, Charlie Kidd and Brodie Savage (all P7) swam fantastically to win silver. Meanwhile the girls’ team of Katie MacCallum, Jennifer Arthur, Lucy McGregor (sister of Daniel) and Caitlin Arnott (all P7) held on really well in an exciting finish for a well-deserved bronze.
