Our Pipes & Drums were crowned Scottish Schools' Pipe Band Champions in the Juvenile Grade for the third year in succession on Sunday 12 March. The event took place at James Gillespie’s High School, Edinburgh and attracted 81 school bands who travelled from all over Scotland to compete. This followed on from their triumph at the GWC invitational competition the previous week.

Not to be outdone, our Novice Juvenile A band took top spot to win the Scottish Schools' Championship title in their grade.

The Novice B band gained second place and our 'debut' band pictured here in their very first competitive performance, also secured second place in their respective grade.

The drum corps of the Novice A, Novice B and Debut bands, all gained first place for each of their performances.

All in all, a very successful start to the 2017 season for our Pipes & Drums.

The next competition for the Pipes & Drums will be at the Lothian & Borders Indoor Contest, which takes place in Livingston on 1 April.
