Keri Weir, Eve Hamlin and Elvira Pia (all S1) have found out that their fashion design is through to the grand final of Junk Kouture, a national competition to be judged at the SECC Armadillo Auditorium in Glasgow on Thursday 9 February.
The design, made from recycled materials, is amongst the 80 finalists selected from over 350. The entries will be judged by a panel of four, including television personality Louis Walsh and Una Healy of pop group The Saturdays.
The online vote is currently taking place via the Junk Kouture Facebook page. You can vote once every 24 hours for their design. This vote will be worth 10% of the overall score. The first prize is £1,000 for the winning school, iPad minis for the winning team and the Junk Kouture Trophy. The Eco Friendly Fairy design is also eligible for the Best Junior Design Award.
