boy carrying rugby ballMixed fortunes for the two school teams in the Scottish Schools Cup 3rd round ties. The 1st XV narrowly went down 21-15 to Merchiston in an extremely exciting and well contested match. Despite having a large amount of possession and territory Merchiston won the try count 3-2. It was a great advert for schools' rugby and both teams should be proud of their performances.

The U15 XV beat Banchory Academy 106-0 in a one sided contest. Some good support play and a high intensity of effort throughout the game allowed the boys to score some quality tries.

The next round of the competition will be announced on Monday 13th November.
