Extract from Erin's Artwork selected by the Royal Academy for their Summer Online ExhibitionErin Gall (S5), who studies International Baccalaureate Visual Arts, has been selected for this year’s Royal Academy of Arts A-level Summer Exhibition Online.

Her photo of a Tram Tracks overpass is in Gallery 3 of the A-level Summer Exhibition Online and is entitled Unnerving.

It results from Erin's experience of the building works associated with the trams. Erin explained, “I was inspired by the new bridges being constructed near my house. The quiet, stillness that surrounded the site when there was no one working was unsettling and mysterious. This seemed to fit in with the theme I have been exploring.”

This year, nearly 1,280 aspiring artists in college or at Sixth Form submitted their work to the A-Level Summer Exhibition Online, so this is a wonderful achievement for Erin.

The A-level Summer Exhibition Online runs from 9 June – 7 August on the Royal Academy website.
