The S6 performance of Shakespeare's Othello was given a three star review in today’s Edinburgh Evening News. Thom Dibdin’s review suggested he enjoyed the opening performance last night.
The play which centres on the jealousy and the madness generated from suspicion, was directed by Miss Beth Dunham from the English Department. Dibdin stated “A thought-provoking production which also makes excellent use of modern music to comment on the narrative.”
The actors and crews have invested much time and energy over the last month into this challenge with after school and weekend rehearsals and are proud to have received such a positive review from a professional critic, known for his candid opinions.
Tickets still available for the performances tonight (Tuesday) and tomorrow (Wednesday 1 October).
