Primary 5 pupil, Max Wolffe's poem, written last term as part of the Junior School's support for Cancer Research UK, has been selected as one of the 64 semi-finalists in the 'Pound a Poem' competition.

His poem will be published in a book alongside poems penned by personalities such as Maureen Lipman, Konnie Huq and Gary Lineker.

Not only will Max receive a copy of the book featuring his poem, but he has also won £100 of books for the School library.

He is highly delighted with his success. His poem will also appear in Tick Talk alongside some of our other pupils' poems written for the competition.
