Snow on branchesOn Tuesday 6, Wednesday 7 and Friday 9 December, the children in Primary 3 invited their parents to join them at School for an afternoon of Christmas songs and readings. They learned an incredible number of songs and actions. There was no doubt in the audience's mind that Camel Boogie Woogie was a clear favourite.

Prior to each assembly the children held a Christmas Fair selling craft items that they had made including calendars, tree decorations, bracelets, candleholders and gift tags. This was part of an enterprise project in which the children were learning more about their role as Global Citizens.

A total of £307.50 was raised and this money has been donated to The Sunshine Project. This is a charity that provides a home, care and education for abandoned or orphaned children in Luxor, Egypt.
