A very successful week in Watson's history culminated in the Juvenile band and drum corps successfully defending their World Pipe Band Championship titles at a sunny Glasgow Green on Saturday.
They saw off opposition from as far away as Australia and America to claim their third World's title in the last four years.
The Novice band had two excellent performances, beating no fewer than 25 bands, but had to settle for the runners up spot when the American band Scotia Glenville proved too strong. However, the young Novice drummers won best drum corps, ensuring Watson's captured three out of four World Championship Titles.
Both bands travel to Dunoon on Friday 24 August to compete in the last Major Championship of the year.
