In total they won eleven trophies including first place in the Novice competition and second place in the Grade 2 competition. The bands also collected three out of four Lothian & Borders Champions titles.

The highlight of the day, apart from Mrs Hamilton’s fabulous barbeque, was the Junior band being placed fourth in their competition.

With another outdoor season finished the pipers and drummers will now be focusing on the indoor solo competitions. Calum Watson (S4) is on top form enjoying solo piping wins at Braemar and Pitlochry. Our drummers’ focus will be on the World Solo Drumming Championships later this month.
