Nineteen Medals and a 33 year-old Record at Scottish Championships

Our winning relay teamsThe athletics team were highly successful at the Scottish Schools’ Athletics Championships, which were held at Hampden on Friday and Saturday as a Commonwealth Games tester event.

Special mention to Josh Kerr (S5) who won the 800m and 1,500m double, breaking a 33 year-old record in the 1500m with a time of 3.57.29!

Ben Robbins (S6) completed an absolutely phenomenal school athletics’ career by winning his eighteenth Scottish Championship medal, bringing his overall total to and amazing 13 golds, four silver and one bronze.
