Christian Nerlinger talks woth pupilsChristian Nerlinger visited school last month to address a group of pupils from his former school in Munich who are visiting Watson's on an exchange visit to promote language learning and cultural awareness. This exchange is a joint venture with Firrhill High School.

Christian was welcomed by the Principal and Scottish and German exchange partners. The Rangers star was a pupil at our twin school in Munich, the Gymnasium Fürstenried-West. One of his classmates and closest friends, Markus Schroeder, took part in this exchange some years ago and later returned to Watson's as German assistant. Markus has kept in touch with Watson's over the years, and thrilled many football fans by arranging this visit from Christian.

The Rangers player enjoyed a quick game of football with the pupils before visiting the After School Club on his tour of the School.
