Les Miserables Production Meets with Critical Acclaim

Les MiserablesThis year's end of term production of Les Miserables has met with critical acclaim, gaining a three star review in the Evening News. The review highlighted the technical aspects of the show, with the set, lighting and sound getting a special mention. David Elliot's leadership of the orchestra was also admired. However, it was the performances which made ”the show a winner“. The lead roles were considered ”uniformly excellent“ and ”in song after song, the standard just keeps on rising“. Craig Serrels, Assistant Principal Teacher of Drama, who directed the show was deemed to have ”done a marvellous job directing this large scale production“ with ”a fine cast“.
