The band is hitting great form with the outdoor competitions on the way!

Congratulations are also due to the Novice Juvenile band who gained a third place and the Junior band, a first and second in their respective grades at the Scottish Schools' Pipe Band Championships.

GWC Pipes & Drums were well represented with numerous awards’ in the solo piping & drumming competitions. This was topped by Louis Bendle (S6) taking first place in the Senior drumming at both the GWC Invitational and the Glasgow Highland Club competitions. In the Junior drumming category, James Strachan (S3) took first place at the GWC Invitational competition and Guy Kellas (S1) secured the first place at the Glasgow Highland Club.
