Boys hockey team in action on the Astro pitch at Caritas Sevens Competition 2011Both our boys’ and girls’ hockey teams won at our Caritas Sevens Tournament yesterday.

The boys beat Dundee High 4–0, Stewart's Melville 4–0 and Balerno 2–0 in the group stages. They then went on to beat Fettes 4–0 in the semi final. Their opposition in the final was Robert Gordon's and Watson’s won 3–0, with David Thornton (S6) scoring all the goals in the final match. Having won the Stewart’s Melville Sevens last week, the team has now played nine matches, winning them all, without conceding any goals.

The girls won all their matches beating Peebles 5–0, St George's 1–0, Heriot's 2–0 in the semi final and Kelso 1–0 in the final. This caps an amazing season for the girls who have not lost a 7-a-side or 11-a-side match all season!
