GWC wishes both pupils and staff all the very best for the future

Published on 26 June 2019

Our Prizegiving ceremonies are an opportunity to come together and recognise the special achievements of our pupils in a wide variety of academic subjects and extra curricular activities. It is also a time to celebrate and reflect on the wider success of each year group and the Junior and Senior Schools as a whole.

For most of our pupils, Prizegiving signals the end of term and the start of a well needed break over the summer. However, every year our S6 pupils and some in S4 and S5 leave to pursue new challenges and take what they have learned at our school out into the wider world.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish every one of our pupils leaving us this week all the very best for the future, whoever you are and whatever you are doing. We hope that you will keep in touch and continue to share your successes with us.

For all of our pupils returning after the break, we wish you a fun, relaxing and well deserved summer and look forward to seeing you refreshed and ready to move into your new year groups.

To our staff who are leaving to pursue new challenges or looking forward to their retirement, we would also like to extend our best wishes.
