In the U16s Ben Carruthers and Duncan Kuwall (both S4) won silver and bronze respectively, and Errin Gall (S5) won bronze in the girls' event.

There was an impressive GWC one, two, three in the boys' U15 event, with Fergus Mainland, Euan Dickerson (both S3) and Alex Chisholm (S4) winning gold, silver and bronze respectively. Meanwhile Lauren Cory (S3) won gold in the U15 girls’ event.

The U18 relay team of James Stevenson, Arseniy Morgunov, Blair Ketteringham, and Oliver Fenton (all S5) won the open relay event in a time of 6 minutes.   The U16 team of Fergus Mainland, Lauren Cory (both S3), Errin Gall and Ben Carruthers (both S4) also won the mixed relay event, finishing a full half minute ahead of the next fastest team.

The squad will now attempt to transfer their speed onto the water as they compete at Durham Small Boats' Head this weekend, the first open race of the calendar year.
