Map of Japan superimposed on Japanese flagThe Spring Term traditionally is the term when all fund raising is done in aid of George Watson's Family Foundation.

However, it was always been the case that we can respond to international or national emergency appeals. Sadly that is now the situation that now faces us, with the earthquake and resultant tsunami causing such devastation on the people of Japan.

The fundraising began in the Junior School where the sale of baking raised £100.

Fundraising will continue over the next couple of weeks, with various activities including an 'own clothes day' in the Senior School and we will update this story as further money is raised.
