closeup of boys rowingGeorge Watson’s College had 14 event wins at the Scottish rowing championships held at Strathclyde Park on 16–17 June, which included all the boys under 18 and under 16 events.

Murray Wilkojc (S6), the club captain, had a fantastic championship winning six out of six junior events - single scull, double scull, quad scull, coxed four, coxless four and pair.

The club won 14 events at the Berwick regatta last weekend. Nevertheless, the most important result was probably the fact that we were able to enter five quads of primary 7 rowers from our summer term intake. Hopefully these will produce our rowers for the future.
