Our S3 boys had warmed the Watson's crowd up with their win against Stewart's Melville in the S3 Plate final. So it was over to the girls, who were going for their fourth Scottish Outdoor Cup win in a row, and the double, given their Scottish Indoor Cup final win earlier in the season, up against Mary Erskine's School.

Watson's opened the scoring within the first five minutes with a goal from Kirsty McKean (S6).  Mary Erskine's School equalised immediately after half time from a penalty corner.  The score remained at 1–1 at full time therefore the Cup was decided in a penalty shoot out.  The Watson's girls – Marnie Davidson, Lucy Clark, Catriona McLellan (all S6) and Claire Hilton (S4) – showed incredible composure to score all their penalties and goal keeper Amy Allard-Dunbar made two crucial saves which meant we won the shoot out competition 4–1.

This is the fourth year in a row that Watson's have won the Girls' Scottish Schools' Cup Final.  A fantastic achievement for all those involved.
