Watson's on the attack during SISFA Cup Final at TynecastleAfter a nail biting and tense ‘semi-final penalty-shootout win’ against George Heriot’s last Friday afternoon, our Senior football team made it to the final of the Scottish Independent Schools’ Cup.

The final against Stewart’s Melville College took place on Tuesday 8 May at Tynecastle Stadium, and Watson's supporters were out in force.

Three goals early in the first half meant that Watson's had a mountain to climb - but their heads never went down as they battled until the final whistle. A goal from Kevin Keane (S5) fifteen minutes before the end of the match gave the team, and their supporters, a boost and Watson's put some serious pressure on the Stewart's Melville defence. However the defence and their goalkeeper, Stuart McLaren, who was named 'man of the match' proved inpenetrable preventing a late comeback.
