China Week Revisited

Pupils, from S2, put some of their experiences from May’s China Week to good use yesterday, when they took part in the China Scotland Leadership Conference at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.

The Conference was opened by the First Minister of Scotland, Alex Salmond MSP, and had delegates from: Beijing; the Chinese Embassy in the UK; Edinburgh’s Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China; Schools in Hong Kong; the Scottish Government; and key people from Scottish education and business.

Our pupils performed some songs, tongue twisters and Tai Chi at the Conference, billed as “a milestone in the development of international education in Scotland.”
