This week S1 pupils are taking part in a cross-curricular themed project. The theme is China, and the intention is to improve our understanding of Chinese culture.
Staff from across all curricular areas of the Senior School have worked together to develop the programme of activities which has been designed to encourage a holistic approach to teaching and learning.
George Watson's College has particular historic links with Shandong Province in North-Eastern China and also, more recently, with Shanghai.
S1 pupils will be investigating these links further as well as taking part in a wide variety of activities including an introduction to Mandarin language, Chinese handicrafts, myths, cookery, Tai Chi and many other interesting and enjoyable activities.
A diary capturing the some of the week's highlights will be published here daily.
