Kathryn Bryce (Class of 2015) has been named as the new Scotland Women's Cricket Captain. Kathryn, a student at Loughborough University, will lead the Wildcats into a straight knockout club cricket competition, the ECB T20 (England and Wales Cricket Board Twenty20). Afterwards, she will captain her team in the ICC T20 (International Cricket Council Twenty20), facing 20 overs in matches of the highest T20 standard.

Kathryn has learnt from the best women in cricket. She has been training with Loughborough Lightning, and joined the ICC WBBL (Women's Big Bash League) Associate Rookie programme in Australia with the Melbourne Stars and Adelaide Strikers.

Kathryn's first game in charge will take place on 10 June against Hampshire, followed by the ICC T20 Global Qualifiers in the Netherlands in July.
