Juvenile Band celebrate their British Championship winThe Juvenile band won the second Major Championship of the season in Annan on Saturday 25 June to add to the Scottish Champions title they won last month.

In a closely fought contest, they their main rivals, Boghall & Bathgate Juveniles and Dollar Academy, into second and third place respectively. Although the drummers played exceptionally well, they finished second to a strong Boghall drum corps.

In the Novice grade it was business as usual for the drummers winning their second Major of the season although the band was pipped into second place by Kintyre Schools.

The Juvenile band will travel to Antigonish in Nova Scotia, Canada early in July to prepare for the forthcoming European Championships in Belfast at the end of July, before competing in the World Championships in Glasgow on 13 August.
