Bell Lawrie Cup Final Details

boy carrying rugby ballThis Friday, 25 January, the School will be represented in both the U15 and U18 rugby finals of the Bell Lawrie Scottish Schools' Cup for the first time.

This is a tremendous achievement in what is the most prestigious rugby competition for Scottish schools.

The finals take place on the International Pitch at Murrayfield and with local opposition in both matches, there is likely to be a great turnout in the stands. I would encourage as many as possible to come along, barring Burns' Night commitments, to support our teams.

The U15 team will face George Heriot’s, with a 6pm kick-off, while the U18 match versus Merchiston Castle School follows, with a 7.30pm kick-off.

Admission to both matches is free.

I am looking forward to a wonderful occasion of schoolboy sportsmanship. In that spirit, I wish all four teams an enjoyable evening.
