Yesterday evening another bit of Watson’s history was made when the inaugural Hill Race was run in the Pentland Hills.
In total 11 runners took part (all boys – although it was open to all) in the race at Harlaw reservoir. The three mile route was over moorland to the top of Harbour Hill and back and was challenging for the runners on what was a warm April evening.
All finished and the winners were:
|S1-S3||Nick Milne (S2)||26:25 mins|
|S4-S6||David Wolffe (S4)||25:31 mins|
A big thanks to all the members of staff who organised the event, marshalled the route and provided medical cover.
