Allan Breaks Old School Record

Allan Hamilton's long jumpAllan Hamilton (S6) jumped 7.05m in the long jump at the Scottish Senior Inter Regional Championships on Sunday at the Kelvin Hall. This broke the existing school record, which had stood at 6.87m since Peter Burgess jumped it in 1965.

Also at the Kelvin Hall this weekend was the Scottish U15 Closed Championships. Ben Robbins (S2) came first in the 400m and second in the 200m races. While Kirsty McKean (S2) was first in the long jump, and second in both the hurdles and the 200m races.

Could be an exciting summer of athletics!
