Pipe Band Group ShotThe Juvenile band finished first and second at the recent invitational mini band competition held here at Watson's. Then last Friday evening they won the Glasgow Highland Club Schools' competition. They continued their winning streak when they claimed first place at the inaugural Scottish Schools' Pipe Band Championships held in Broughton High School on Sunday. The drummers also finished first in the three competitions.

The Novice band and drummers also won their grade at both the GWC invitational competition and the Scottish Schools' Pipe Band Championships.

Finally our Junior band claimed second prize in the Scottish Schools' Championships. However, probably the best result of the day was achieved by our 'Training band' coming third in a field of 21 debut bands at the same competition. This band mainly consisted of new players for season 2013 and this was their first ever competition.

The pipers and drummers won various solo prizes. Full details on the results page.
