The Primary 6 sponsored ceilidh in the Sports HallWe had a hectic week last week at GWC with lots of brilliant charity events!

The charity we are supporting this term is the George Watson's Family Foundation, which supports families that are less fortunate, to enable their children to come to our school and have a great education. To help raise money for this cause we had a Junior School Tie Day. This special day was a tremendous success; all pupils who wanted to join in brought a pound and a creative tie!

We also had the P7 March Leveret. The P7s brought in sponsor forms and raced around the School. It was an amazing day and we raised lots of money!

The P6s wanted to raise money as well and to link in with their Jacobite project they had a terrific sponsored ceilidh. They had a ball!

One of our P7 teachers, Mrs Marshall, arranged a teachers' Cluedo charity event. Each teacher in the Upper Primary put in £2 to play. The teachers are having a hysterical time and can’t trust anyone!

An incredible week!
