Map of Japan superimposed on Japanese flagAs we stated last term the Spring Term is traditionally the term when all fund raising is done in aid of George Watson's Family Foundation. However, it was always been the case that we can respond to international or national emergency appeals.

The earthquake and resultant tsunami causing such devastation on the people of Japan was one of those situations and both the Junior School and Senior School pupils were keen to help.

Fundraising included bake sales and an 'own clothes day' in the Senior School and we are delighted that the amazing total of £4598.29 was raised.
