100 for Mr McCallum

Batsman about to hit cricket ballThis week saw a milestone for Mr Neil McCallum, PE Teacher, when he gained his hundredth cricketing cap for Scotland in the ICC Intercontinental Cup match against Ireland.

And luck was on his side, in a match that was heading for almost a certain defeat for Scotland until rain stopped play. The points gained due to Scotland’s first innings performance means that they went to the top of the eight-team table.

'Neil continues to impress with his performances for Scotland and we are delighted that he has reached such a notable milestone - a tribute to his talent and dedication. Well done to him!', said Mr Gareth Edwards, Principal.
