Programme Leader Biography
Charlotte Peak has over 20 years experience working with young people across Scotland, in both the independent and State sectors. From her experience in working with young people from the Central Belt to remote island communities, Charlotte has developed a deep understanding of the barriers young people face when preparing for exams. In many cases, these challenges are not due to a lack of ability or motivation, but rather an uncertainty about how to revise effectively or which strategies work best for them.
Charlotte now works as a study skills specialist, supporting students from National 5 and GCSE through to university level. She has developed the PEAK Framework:
Profile: Identify your unique learning strengths and habits.
Evaluate: Decode exam structures and examiner expectations.
Apply: Master cognitive science-backed revision techniques
Keep consistent: Build sustainable routines and focus.
