Drama - P4 to S2
Theme: This year's theme will be revealed on the first day of camp!
Our Drama camps engage children in wide range of drama activities. The camp is based around a theme, revealed on the first day of camp. Children will have the opportunity to explore a variety of drama games, devised drama, movement workshops, script work and costume and prop design. Throughout the week the pupils will work towards an informal showcase that will be performed on the final day of camp. Please note that this is a closed performance, the children only share their work with each other.
Camp Leader: David Chivers
David Chivers is a Drama Teacher at George Watson’s College, working across both the Junior and Senior Schools. With over 15 years of teaching experience, he has taught within both the Scottish and English curriculums, bringing a rich and versatile approach to the classroom. During his time in London, David led Drama summer workshops for international students, further broadening his experience and knowledge. Passionate about developing young performers, he has directed numerous school musicals, plays, and showcases, inspiring students to grow in confidence and creativity both on and off the stage.
Camp Dates
Camp 1: Monday 7 - Friday 11 July 2025.
Camp 2: Monday 14 - Friday 18 July 2025.
Who can attend?
Our Drama Camps are open to all children currently in P4 - S2.
