Art Camp: The Art of Nature - P4 - P5

We are delighted to welcome award winning illustrator, author, and designer Kate McLelland to lead a special Easter Art Camp for younger children.  Under the theme ‘The Art of Nature’, children will explore the natural world and use a diverse range of materials and techniques to create and explore flowers, water, birds and mammals. Children will gain confidence and have fun, learning new techniques to create beautiful arts and crafts to take home. 

Camp Leader Biography: 
Kate McLelland is an award-winning illustrator, author and designer. She is the illustrator of the bestselling picture book There Was a Wee Lassie Who Swallowed a Midgie. Kate has illustrated many successful book series, including Where’s my....for Little Tiger Press, Press Out and Decorate for Nosy Crow and RSPB Nature Guides for Bloomsbury Publishing.  

Kate studied Theatre Design at university and gained an MFA in Illustration with Distinction at Edinburgh College of Art. More recently, she completed a PGDE in Primary Education.
